Going East from Cleveleys on Victoria Road, you’ll come to the Marsh Mill Complex - shadowed by Marsh Mill you’ll find several shops a pub and a quiet little square-where you’ll often find entertainment during the Summer Weekends (and during Fylde Folk Festival) you’ll also find a Music Shop, Music World (UK), specialising in Accordions - and what a range they have - but also carrying a range of other instrument - Guitars (Electric & Acoustic) , Banjos, Mandolins, Melodeons, Concertinas, Violins, Keyboards etc., A range of Musical Novelties, Keyboards amps and accessories not only this but they have now expanded into the shop next door where they have an excelent range of music and music related books. So next time you’re in Cleveleys pack up a picnic basket and make your way to Marsh Mill and Music World (UK).

Located on the outskirts of Blackpool near to the Oxford you will find Whitegate Music Centre. A small friendly shop specializing a variety of sheet music. Although not a large range of instruments is kept in stock there are usually several wind instruments on show.

Ansdell is located between Lytham and St.Annes and although only comprising of not much more than one road of shops and a railway station is well worth a visit (if in the area) to have a look at Raymond’s shop.

Anyone into Keyboards (or who has visited Blackpool and its piers) will know of Raymond Wallbank - a Professional Organist of more years than ANYONE can remember! The shop is crammed with instruments of all kinds Organs and Keyboards, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Mandolins, Banjos (4, 5, and 6 string), Violins, Ukes, Saxophones, Flutes, Trumpets, Penny Whistles, Mouth Organs plus many odds and ends - if you’re looking for something special - give them a ring first or just pop in for a look!

As well as musical instruments you’ll find a good range of music related books, Strings sets for most major stringed instruments (also one of the few shops to sell individual strings in most gauges, so you can make up your own sets for that weird instrument or tuning you’ve found!), plectra, pick-ups, leads, Amps etc. etc. etc. Plus midi files and music from the latest computerised assistant - have a look it’s fascinating.

Thelma's Music Shop (previously Music In Print), Specialising in Music Books you will find an excellent selection of Music, Tutors (both in book form and Video) and books on individual Instrument's History. Now located in the foyer of the St.Annes School of Music, Drama and Dance an Ideal location and handy for those attending music lessons.

Although not Specialising in Musical Instruments there are usually Several Guitars (Classical and Folk), Bodhrans, Whistles, Mouth Organs, Fiddles, Mandolins plus the usual accessories.
